Most stores are built to launch, not to grow
Plenty of Shopify builds look great on launch day and then start working against the business: slow themes weighed down by apps, sections the team can’t edit without a developer, tracking that misses a large share of purchases, and redirects forgotten during the migration. Fixing those later costs more than getting them right the first time.
I’m a growth strategist who also builds your store. Speed, SEO, tracking and conversion are part of the build, not a follow-up project.
What I build
Custom Online Store 2.0 themes
Themes built in Liquid on Online Store 2.0, with custom sections and blocks your team can rearrange in the theme editor. Clean code, as few apps as possible, and templates designed around how your products actually sell.
Headless storefronts with Hydrogen
For brands with complex content, custom experiences or an in-house development team, I build headless storefronts on Hydrogen and Oxygen using the Storefront API. For most brands a well-built theme is still the better choice, and I’ll tell you which fits.
Shopify Plus and Checkout Extensibility
Checkout UI extensions, branding and post-purchase customization through Checkout Extensibility, and Shopify Functions for custom discounts, shipping rules, payment options and cart validation. B2B, expansion stores and Shopify Flow automations where needed.
Apps and integrations
Klaviyo for email and SMS, Recharge for subscriptions, Judge.me for reviews and Gorgias for support, plus ERP, 3PL and inventory systems. Configured so the data flows correctly, not just installed.
Migrations without losing rankings
Moving from WooCommerce, Magento or another platform: products, variants, customers, orders and content migrated, with a complete 301 redirect map, metadata and structured data preserved, and Search Console monitored after launch.
Speed and Core Web Vitals
Image and font optimization, lean JavaScript, app cleanup and theme-level performance work, measured against real-user Core Web Vitals rather than a single lab score.
International selling with Shopify Markets
Multi-currency, multi-language and market-specific pricing, domains and content, with correct hreflang for international SEO.
Tracking from day one
GA4 ecommerce events, server-side tagging, Meta Conversions API, Google Enhanced Conversions and Consent Mode v2 — working and verified before launch, not patched in afterwards.
How a project runs
- Scoping — goals, catalog, integrations and a fixed quote.
- Design and build — on a development store, reviewed with you weekly.
- Pre-launch QA — speed, tracking, redirects, SEO and checkout tested on real devices.
- Launch and aftercare — monitoring and fixes in the weeks after go-live.
- Growth — optional ongoing work on paid media, CRO and retention.
Who this is for
- DTC brands outgrowing a template theme or a patchwork of apps.
- Businesses on WooCommerce or Magento planning a move to Shopify.
- Shopify Plus merchants adopting Checkout Extensibility or needing custom Functions.
- Brands expanding internationally with Shopify Markets.
Who this is not for
- Stores that need a quick template setup on a minimal budget.
- Teams choosing on lowest quote alone — I price for stores built to perform and grow.
